YU XI VILLAGE

This village was an hour and a half drive from Shaoguan up through winding mountain roads that would make you dizzy if you stared out the window too long. It's the kind of place where the chickens roam freely and the kids will readily offer you a sweet potato that they just pulled from the ground.
