Wesley Drake is a traditional representational painter passionate about exploring different places
and cultures and translating those experiences onto canvas.
He will most often be found painting en plein air—French for "in the open air"—
where he can not only observe the interaction of light and color,
but also have the emotional connection
with the subject that painting from life creates.
